Ladbroke Grove Ladbroke Grove is the heart of Notting Hill, a long road which has the very best secret cafes, bars and restaurants and pubs in Notting Hill plus many other local features. Its here that we have a traditional or continental light breakfast in one of the areas on-trend cafes.
Westway Market and Portobello Road. You cannot go to this area without visiting these markets. Yes, they are busy but its worth it. We spend 1 hour in the markets and Portobello Road and then walking slowly to the coolest area of Notting Hill, Golborne Road.
This is THE up and coming area with amazing bars and restaurants plus local secrets like the famous Portuguese cafe selling its world famous Pastel de nata 'aka' egg custard tarts.
We view one of the iconic but unknown London landmarks, Trellick Tower. A masterpieces of 1960's high rise design.
