With the help of your host, a local home cook, you will get a hands-on cooking experience and learn new techniques used in Indian cooking in an airconditioned kitchen.
You can prepare and enjoy Vegetarian Street foods made hygienically at home like Samosas, Vada-Pav , Chaat , Mumbai Masala Sandwich , Dosa , Pav bhaji , Jalebi etc.(Options to be selected at the time of booking or atleast 48 hours before the activity)
Vegans are welcome. Let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.

We meet directly at my residence in Bangur Nagar which is 500 meters away from Inorbit mall, Malad West. Uber or Ola taxi app can be very convenient and cost effective. We can arrange for pickup from Nearby Inorbit Mall(Malad) / Lower Malad Metro station / Bangur Nagar Metro Station at request.

What to expect

Step into an inviting & snug apartment for an authentic Mumbai street food journey! Begin with a welcoming, non-alcoholic refreshment or a steaming cup of Indian Masala Chai.
Continue the culinary adventure in a comfortable, air-conditioned kitchen.
You’ll have the chance to cook ONE from the following options.
Select the option 48 hrs prior to the activity.

•Option 1: Delve into the art of making and frying samosas, the classic fried pastry with a savory heart, and batata vada, a scrumptious mashed potato patty wrapped in chickpea flour and deep-fried.
•Option 2: Whip up the beloved Mumbai Pav bhaji, followed by the sweet swirls of Indian dessert Jalebi.
•Option 3: Create ANY 2 Indian chaat (Sev puri, Bhel puri, Ragda Pattice, Pani Puri, Dahi Batata Puri)
•Option 4: Craft a Mumbai Masala Toast Sandwich(Jaffle) and learn how to make Dosa with Coconut Chutney.
Later, we’ll gather at the dining table to relish the dishes we’ve prepared. You’ll also take home recipes to host your very own chaat party!
Should you wish to cook a particular dish, just give us a heads-up and we’ll make it happen!
For our Vegan friends, we’re happy to tailor the menu to suit your dietary preferences.
