We will pick you up at your place of accommodation from 7:30 am, (hours can be between 8:00 and 8:30 in winter season between May and August). Consider that in Magellan in winter we have an hour more than the rest of the country. Between October and March you can spend lunch at the Pehoe campsite quincho, two days before service we coordinate if you decide to bring box lunch and picnic in a space of the Pehoe Campsite or we spend lunch at the quincho. This Service customers can customize according to the weather in conjunction with our staff always looking for the best option for our customers.
We go to your accommodation and after 30 minutes make the first stop where we visit La Cueva del Milodón. Where we will be between 30 to 40 minutes.
The Milodón Cave is a large natural formation with notable scientific and archaeological importance. Since 1896, remains of an extinct animal called Darwin's Mylodon (Mylodon darwini), which lived at least 5,000 years ago, have been found. In addition, vestiges of other animals have been discovered such as the dwarf horse, the saber-toothed tiger and the great guanaco. The cave is also of great archaeological value, since it was inhabited by early Patagonian man approximately 12,000 years ago. **IMPORTANT NOTE PARK TICKETS: Cash or card payments are not accepted at the park entrance. Tickets can only be purchased online on the national park passes page.
We continue our tour, being impressed by the rivers, lagoons, hills and mountain ranges that the environment offers us. A 30-minute drive away, if the weather is clear, we will have the Paine Massif in front of us. Our second stop will be the Gray viewpoint, on the shores of Lake Toro, where we can admire the Sierra del Toro and the lake of the same name, which has a wonderful turquoise color. It is worth mentioning that this is the largest lake in the Magallanes region, having the first panoramic view of the Paine Massif from here. (Stop of no more than 15 minutes).
After 15 minutes we arrive at Portería Rio Serrano, to continue to the Pingo sector where we will leave the vehicle for boarding in a small lenga forest and head to Gray Beach, where after 40 minutes of walking we will reach the Mirador del Grey, a place where we will appreciate The beauty of the Lake is that it is surrounded by mountains and with the imposing Gray Glacier in the background. Upon returning to the vehicle, after 40 minutes of driving, we will cross the Weber Bridge to head to the Pehoé Lake sector. Here we will have our box lunch and we will be able to enjoy a trail of no more than 7 minutes, from which we will have an unparalleled view of Lake Pehoé, the Paine Massif and the Cuernos del Paine at its best. We will also visit the Pehoé viewpoint, where we can see the hotel of the same name, which is located on a small island with an unparalleled view of the Cuernos del Paine, this place is on the edge of the road and will not take us more than 10 minutes. (The total stop in this sector is approximately 45 minutes, considering the time for the box lunch).
We continue to Salto Grande, in this beautiful place the Paine River passes from Lake Nordenskjöld to Lake Pehoé through this impressive waterfall, this is the place with the highest concentration of wind in the Torres del Paine National Park. Whenever weather conditions allow, it takes us no more than 15 minutes to get to the waterfall, where we can enjoy it up close and feel the force of the waters, with a wonderful view of the Paine Grande and the Cuernos del Paine. We will also be able to appreciate the flora and fauna of the place, which will be explained in more detail by our guide driver and/or guide. (The visit lasts approximately 40 minutes, if you cannot enter the jump, we will appreciate it from the route, Total vehicle time plus the stop).
After marveling at this beautiful landscape, we begin to leave behind the Paine Grande and the Cuernos d to head to the viewpoint of Lake Nordenskjöld, where we will have a different perspective of the mountain range, here we will be able to appreciate the mountain formations, some of its valleys and the difference in colors to what we have already seen. (Stop for no more than 10 minutes after a 40-minute drive at a viewpoint next to the road).
Continuing to find vegetation totally different from what we have already observed, where we will appreciate the abundant Magellanic steppe and we will have many opportunities to find local fauna such as the condor, the fox and with luck, the puma. After 30 minutes, we will leave through the Laguna Amarga gate and head to the Paine Waterfall, the first waterfall through which the Paine River passes before continuing its journey towards Lake Nordenskjöld. (1 hour app considering the journey by vehicle).
Already finishing our tour of the Torres del Paine Park, we pass through the Estancia Laguna Amarga to make our last stop at the lagoon of the same name, where we will have an unparalleled view of the Torres del Paine. We will stop here for no more than 30 min. returning to Puerto Natales through Cerro Castillo, with a travel time of approximately 1:30 hrs, ending this true full Fay. IMPORTANT: We do not take anyone who has a bus or flight on the same day since we make the most of the day and we do not like to be in a hurry. (If you like to be in a hurry, you are not a client for Entre Ulmos y Lengas).
