Immerse yourself in Calgary’s Design District, and see how the former Electric Avenue has transformed from a raucous party strip to a cultural hub filled with shops, restaurants, and art! Experience history and imagine the future with a blend of heritage and contemporary architecture. Feel the electricity of a city with a vibrant public art movement.

View murals that range from monumental portraits of powerful women such as Angela Gladue and Violet King; to a visual retelling of beloved folktales; to towering animals ready to pounce from 50 foot tall walls.

After 8 years of mural installations, this tour will introduce you to the best way to explore street art in Calgary. Join us for an urban adventure, and see the city through the eyes of the artists reimagining the city.

Enter the parkade on 10th avenue and take the stairs or elevator to the 6th floor. Meet at the “Bones of our Past” mural by Kalum Teke Dan. Your tour guide will be waiting at the picnic tables nearby.

    A special project of the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association, High Park is an abandoned parkade rooftop turned public park. BUMP Festival has worked with street artists to transform this park into a sky-high graffiti gallery.

    Our tour guide will bring to you the ground level of the tallest mural in the world and tell you the story behind this mind blowing piece of art.

    A friendly and energetic tour guide will bring your through the streets of the Beltline, to explore BUMP's open air gallery. Murals featured on this tour route are primarily located in the design district in downtown Calgary.
