Known as the southernmost city on the planet and blessed with a beautiful geography that unfolds majestically, Ushuaia has established itself as an internationally renowned tourist destination. However, this excursion proposes to get away from the busiest circuits and into the wild nature of Tierra del Fuego, where its greatness can still be appreciated in its maximum splendor.
We will cross the Andes Mountains and walk along a path that has not been traveled to a viewpoint that will take our breath away. Then, in a refuge near Lake Fagnano, we will share a dinner of traditional Argentine roast, illuminated by the last rays of sunset sun and enjoying a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
This experience will transport us to a place where the greatness of nature and the richness of culture are intertwined in harmony. Tierra del Fuego is a destination that goes beyond what is known and invites us to be captivated by its charm.
The exact pick-up time will be informed the day before the tour. Our guide will show up at the hotel reception and consult for you with your first and last name so that the hotel staff can locate you. We recommend that you wait for us in the hotel lobby at the agreed time to avoid delays. * The start of the excursion could be brought forward by 30-60 minutes some months, to make better use of daylight hours.
We will leave from Ushuaia by vehicle, traveling through wide valleys of glacial origin heading to the top of the Andes Mountains
A hidden path in the forest will lead us to a (almost) undemanding hike to a viewpoint. From there, we can admire in full the lands that only 150 years ago were inhabited only by the Selk'nam people, the original inhabitants of this place. As we revel in the beauty of the landscape, we will share the history of this town, its customs and the impact that the arrival of the white man made on their lives.
After the hike, we will continue by vehicle north, going on a wooded road in search of a magical spot near the shore of Lake Fagnano. There, in an exclusive haven far removed from civilization but close to nature, we will light a fire just as the Selk'nam used to do. We will replicate an ancestral rite that will connect us with the simplicity of observing the dancing flames as we hear the rustling waves of the lake hitting the coast.
After dinner, we set off on our way back through dreamy landscapes bathed in the last lights of the sunset.
