What to expect

Pedal through pristine primary rainforest on a small-group mountain bike adventure in Portalón, near Quepos! After convenient hotel or vacation rental pickup, you’ll gear up with a quality mountain bike, helmet, safety vest, and bottled water. Your certified local guide, fluent in English and deeply familiar with the area, leads you on an easy-to-moderate trail through towering trees and wild jungle sounds. Keep your eyes open: sloths, toucans, and even elusive big cats like ocelots may cross your path. The ride ends at a hidden waterfall, where you’ll enjoy 40 minutes to swim, relax, and savor fresh tropical fruit. Return to the trailhead for a hearty, authentic Costa Rican lunch featuring casado, chifrijo, and local flavors. Limited to just 8 guests for an intimate, personalized experience.
