The magical plateau of Idrijske Krnice is surrounded by pristine nature at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level.
There are three underground forts on the property ''House On The Hill''. The first fort is used for a sauna, the second fort is a wine tasting room, and the third should remain a secret.
The fortifications were made between the First and Second World Wars, built by the Italian army and they are part of the Alpine Wall.
A unique opportunity to taste selected Slovenian or world wines paired with local dishes in the company of the local people.

Choose direction for Idrija and than for Spodnja Idrija where at the traffic light intersection turn left for Oblakov vrh. After 2 kilometers turn right for Idrijske Krnice. After 5 kilometers you will reach the plateau, continue straight and after two kilometers turn left for "House On The Hill".
What to expect
First, we taste young cheeses and matching fresh wines selected by the sommelier. Then we degustate mature and aged cheeses and a meat cuts pairing with wines.
During the degustation, we taste five wines.
