  Oshino Hakkai is a collection of eight springs formed by the snow water from Mount Fuji flowing through the ground. The Ministry of the Environment of Japan listed it as one of the country's high-quality springs in 1985. Oshino Hakkai is famous for its beautiful natural environment. In spring, the cherry trees planted around Lake Kawaguchi are in full bloom; from mid-April to May, about 800,000 moss phlox blooms on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, like a "rainbow on the ground"; in summer, the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival is held from late June to mid-July, and the purple lavender will dye the lakeside with gorgeous colors; in autumn, you can enjoy the traditional beauty of Mount Fuji with maple leaves all over the ground; winter is a good time to clearly see Mount Fuji.

  There are shrines and pagodas in the park. The most famous one is the Mount Fuji Observation Deck halfway up the mountain. It is the location for many brochures and postcards in Japan and is known as one of the "21 places photographers around the world must visit before they die". Climbing the 397 steps near the main hall, you can take a picture of the "tower, Mount Fuji, and the street scene at the foot of the mountain" at once.
