Your day begins with pickup in Marrakech before heading toward the Atlas Mountains. The first stop is the charming Berber village of Tahnaout, surrounded by olive groves, terraced fields, and traditional adobe houses. This peaceful rural area offers an authentic glimpse into Moroccan countryside life. On Tuesdays, the village hosts a lively local souk where farmers and villagers gather to trade fresh produce and handmade goods.
Continue your journey to the Moulay Brahim Valley, one of the most scenic valleys in the High Atlas Mountains. The road passes through beautiful mountain landscapes with traditional Berber villages built on hillsides and surrounded by lush vegetation. Here you will enjoy panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains and experience the peaceful atmosphere of rural Berber life.
Next, visit the beautiful Asni Valley, famous for its green fields and fruit orchards including apple, walnut, almond, and peach trees. This region offers stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains and, on Saturdays, hosts a traditional Berber market where locals gather to sell regional products.
Continue to Oukaïmeden Valley, known for its apple orchards and dramatic mountain scenery. Here you will have the opportunity to visit a traditional Berber house, enjoy fresh Berber bread with mint tea, and learn about the daily life of local families. You will also enjoy panoramic views over the beautiful Sidi Fares Valley. continue travelling through the OUKAIMDEN valley or the valley of apple trees and cross isolated mountain roads through traditional Berber villages built of adobe and stone.
Your final stop is the famous Ourika Valley, one of the most popular day trips from Marrakech. Visit a women’s argan oil cooperative to learn about the traditional production of this famous Moroccan product. Continue to Setti Fatma village, where you can take a short guided walk to discover the waterfalls. Afterwards, enjoy free time for lunch at a riverside restaurant with beautiful mountain views.
