Over 60 years ago, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake rocked Yellowstone, creating landslides which blocked rivers, destroying roads and buildings almost 50 miles away from its epicenter. Since then, the blocked river has turned into a beautiful lake, new infrastructure has been built, and amazing views are there for us to discover from the air.

On this flight over the historic epicenter of the 1959 earthquake, experience views that only a few get to see of Yellowstone's history. Along with the history, you will see amazing views of lakes, rivers, mountains, and so much more that make up this beautiful area.

Look for our sign on your right as you enter the airport. If you reach the main terminal building you have gone too far. Park in front of the sign. Your pilot will come meet you at your car.

    As you take flight over the Greater Yellowstone Area, your knowledgeable pilot will point local features affected by the 1959, including Earthquake Lake. The lake created by the tremendous slip of the fault line.
