Cao Bang is an immensely beautiful, sparsely populated frontier region of North Vietnam. This mountainous expanse sits on the northeast border with China and is home to many ethnic minority communities. Although the Ban Gioc waterfalls have become a popular attraction, this region is often overlooked by tourists which has meant its unique beauty and culture has been well preserved. The landscape here is typified by jagged mountains carpeted in thick vegetation, sporadic rice paddies and thin winding roads. Between 6h00 AM to 6h30 AM : We will pick up guests at hotels/stays in Hanoi Old Quarter Area. Please ready at your hotel lobby, our guide will come and check your name at receptionist for tour to Ban Gioc Waterfall- one of the four waterfalls located between 2 countries Vietnam - China, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.

12:30 - 13:00 You will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue the journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall (one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world). You have time to enjoy the beautiful scenery here. You can try travelling by boat near the waterfall (self-paid). Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of Vietnam’s most impressive natural sights. Located in the northeastern province of Cao Bang, the falls are 30 metres high and 300 metres across, making Ban Gioc the widest (but not the highest) waterfall in the country. The falls occur on the Quay Son River, a beautiful jade-blue body of water flowing from China through a pastoral landscape of rice fields and bamboo groves surrounded by limestone pinnacles.

After waterfall, ontinue the journey to Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave). Nguom Ngao Cave is located in a mountain in Gun village of Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, is a priceless asset that the nature has gifted to the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang. Nearly 5 kilometres away from the renowned Ban Gioc Waterfall, Nguom Ngao Cave was discovered in 1921, opened to tourists in 1996, and recognised as a national-level scenic landscape in 1998. Nguom Ngao means “Tiger Cave” in the Tay ethnic language. It is said that that this site used to be a den of many tigers which were then killed by local residents to guarantee a safe life. Given this, local Tay people named this place “Nguom Ngao”. However, another story said there was an underground stream with piles of pebbles flowing into the Quay Son River and releasing murmur which echoes in the cave and sounds like a tiger’s roar, thus earning this cave the name “Nguom Ngao”

Then get back on the bus and keep journeying to the hotel in Cao Bang Province. 16:30: Check-in the hotel and relax. 18:30: Have dinner at the hotel/local restaurant.

7:00: Have breakfast and check-out hotel. 8:00: The driver and guide pick you up from the hotel to visit Ban Gioc Pagoda (Truc Lam Phat Tich Pagoda). When coming here, visitors will enjoy the peaceful, gentle atmosphere. Especially admire the solemn beauty of the sacred place in the middle of the border land. Come back to the car to visit Angle’s Eye Mountain (Núi Mắt Thần) which has a through hole (Thung Mountain, which is located in Quang Uyen District). Mountain Angel eye” or “Phja Piot” (in Tay language means a mountain with through-going hole) is in Quoc Toan commune, Trung Khanh district. Mountain Angel eye is in fact a rounded through-going cave c.50m in diameter and c.50m high above the lake. The present day altitude of the cave is due mainly to recent tectonic uplift movements. 12:00: Have lunch at local restaurant in Quang Uyen District, Cao Bang.

7Old Quarter
After lunch, you will get on the bus to come back to Hanoi City. 18:30 - 19:00 pm : Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter Area and drop off guest back to hotel. End tour
