In the morning: From 7:00 to 7:30Am : we will pick up all guests at the hotel/airbnb in Hanoi Old Quarter Area or our meeting point at 20 Hang Muoi Street, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi if stay outside then drive to Quang Phu Cau Incense Village within 1.5 hours.
Arrive at Incense Village Quang Phu Cau, there, you can see the process that the artisans make the incense with beautiful color and dry them under the sun and making the best photos ever. Note: If it rains you cannot see the incense so you will visit Bat Trang pottery village (45 minutes driving) instead with pottery workshop where the artisans produce ceramics products for domestic use and exporting. You also practise to make 1 sample with the instructor
Before 11:30 am, you will be at Train Street to get ready for taking photos/videos of the train coming back to Hanoi Railway station. This is the most expected part of the trip. Then you have lunch there. (We will serve all guests lunch with Banh Mi & Bun Cha (famous street food).
In the afternoon: Visiting Hoa Lo Prison which is known as Maison Centrale in Hanoi or the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ which housed Vietnamese revolutionaries & American POW during the Vietnam War.
Then visit Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam in The 10th Century, learn more about Confucianism and Viet Nam traditional education with Khue Van Pavilion and Doctor Stelas on turtle's back
Next we will visit outside of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square where president Ho Chi Minh declared Independence of Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945.
Driving to West Lake to visit the most ancient pagoda Tran Quoc which was built in 528 to understand about Buhhism in Vietnam. Tour ends with special Egg coffee that you never try before.
