A perfect start to your Barcelona stay. During my workshop I will give you an inside look into Moroccan culture and cuisine.

We begin by visiting the world famous covered market La Boqueria to purchase our ingredients.
After making our purchases we go to my modern workshop-kitchen in the colorful, multi cultural area of Raval in Old Town.

You will how to make a quintessential Moroccan tajine with couscous with all the accompaniments.

This is a true 'hands on' cooking class where you will participate in all food preparations.

My workshop is fun, informative and delicious.

You will have my undivided attention.

Recipes for each dish are available so you can recreate these dishes at home.

When all our preparations are completed we sit down and enjoy our efforts . . .

Tea & dessert complete our feast.

We will meet at 11:am in front of the main entrance of La Boqueria market, across from La Rambla. I will stand on the right side as you face the market. La Rambla, 91, Ciutat Vella, 08001 Barcelona. I will have a sign VIATOR Ask for time preferences by private message 10: 2:pm or 2: to 6:pm

What to expect

During my hands-on cooking workshop, I will give you an inside look into Moroccan culture and cuisine.

You will learn how to make a quintessential Moroccan tajine with couscous and all the accompaniments.

After visiting the world famous covered market, La Boqueria, to purchase our ingredients, we go to my modern workshop kitchen in the colorful, multi-cultural area of Raval in Old Town.

If it is a holiday and La Boqueria is closed we will visit several local shops to purchase our ingredients.

We start by building our tajine since it takes 3 hours to cook on a slow setting.

We continue our workshop making the caramelized onions, couscous and harira soup.

Now when all is completed we sit down to enjoy our efforts.

This is a true 'hands-on' cooking class where you will participate in all food preparations.

You will have my undivided attention.

Printed recipes with instructions for each dish are included.
