What to expect

Meet the wine bar owner and begin your experience with a brief introduction to the world of wine. Discover the history of wine, learn about different wine regions, and learn how climate, grape type, and location affect taste.

Next, learn how to taste wines. Start by looking at the wines, admiring their color. Then, smell the wine before tasting it. Throughout your experience, enjoy 2 glasses of white, 2 glasses of red and finish with a glass of champagne. With each wine, taste a different cheese. Throughout this experience, you will be accompanied by the owner of the wine bar who will guide you step by step.

Throughout the tasting, ask the guide to give you explanations about the wines. As you go, compare the smell of each wine to a different perfume sample to exercise your sense of smell. Once the tasting is over, you will be ready to choose your favorite wine in all Parisian restaurants!
