Porto is a city where gastronomy and traditions merge into a unique sensory experience. On this tour, you’ll explore the best of local cuisine, from Porto’s wine cellars to the vibrant Matosinhos Market and to Afurada’s traditional restaurants, where fresh seafood is highlighted.

The journey begins at Matosinhos Market, one of the largest fish markets in Portugal, with banks full of fish, seafood and other ocean delights. The market is a lively hub, where you learn about traditional fishing practices and sustainable methods.

From there, the tour follows to the traditional Porto wine cellars, located along the River Douro, where you will learn about the production process and taste some of the best labels.

The tour ends in the village of Afurada, famous for fresh seafood, where you will taste dishes such as fish boiler or seafood rice, accompanied by green wine or Porto.
