We depart Istanbul around midnight and travel overnight to Cappadocia in comfortable, climate-controlled VIP minibuses. During the journey we make a few short rest stops for stretching and refreshments; your guide will share local stories and highlights about the regions we pass. Time permitting and depending on road conditions, we will detour to the spectacular Tuz Gölü (Salt Lake) for a photo stop — a memorable contrast to Cappadocia’s rock formations. Expect an early morning arrival ready to begin your first day of exploration.

Our next stop is Love Valley — a breathtaking natural wonder known for its distinctive rock formations and panoramic views. Next, we visit the charming town of Avanos — famous for its ancient pottery tradition that dates back thousands of years. Located along the Red River (Kızılırmak), Avanos has been the heart of Cappadocia’s craftsmanship for generations. Here, we’ll visit a local pottery workshop where skilled artisans demonstrate the traditional techniques used since Hittite times. Early in the morning, we’ll have the option to take a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia!
