The place where IT takes place is very unique, a magnificent mansion from the 19th century with an incredible acoustic and a perfect setting for this type of Fado.

    Experience the only show in Porto Downtown that offers an hour of exclusive Coimbra Fado Style. This Fado Style has its origins in the University of Coimbra and therefore is usually also known as "Students Fado". Because it was common for Students to perform serenades to their loved ones, this type of Fado is sometimes also designated as "Serenade Fado". The show takes place inside the Palacete Visconde Pereira Machado, from the balcony of this imposing palace, facing the magnificent stairs that give access to the upper floor. IT will give you therefore a true feeling of a Serenade. Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the beginning of the show to appreciate an exhibition that this small palace offers regarding some important facts of the history of Portugal, as well as the architecture of this beautiful mansion.
