Fuji City Local Railway and Hanko Engraving Day Trip

6 hours 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

Discover the culture of Fuji City through this full-day experience. Begin with an e-bike ride from Shin-Fuji Station, then board the nostalgic Gakunan Railway and travel alongside locals to historic Yoshiwara Shopping Street. In case of rain, the e-bike ride will be replaced with a private vehicle transfer.

At Han no Ozawa, a family-owned seal shop since 1882, learn from a master engraver as you carve your own hanko. With guidance and an English-speaking interpreter, even beginners can create a personal artist's seal. Unlike many workshops, you'll complete the carving yourself from beginning to end.

Enjoy a lunch break in the shopping district before returning to complete your handmade keepsake and take it home the same day.

Highlights:
・Travel by e-bike, local railway, and private vehicle
・Create your own Japanese hanko from start to finish
・Learn from a fifth-generation master engraver
・Experience local life beyond the usual Mt. Fuji tourist route
