Our KAMAKURA GUIDED TOURS desk is located 1 minute walking distance from the Kamakura JR station West Exit. Right at the West Exit please turn right, walk 10 meters, then again turn right at the very first narrow street. Walk along for 30 meters to arrive to HOTEL new kamakura on your left hand.
Sasuke Inari Shrine is about a 20-minute walk from Kamakura Station. During our visit, you'll explore this Shinto shrine, which is dedicated to the fox.
Zeniarai Benten Shrine is a popular shrine in Kamakura, which people visit to wash their money (zeniarai means "coin washing"). It is said that money washed in the shrine's spring, will double.
Genjiyama Park is surrounded by lush nature and features a slope that is one of the seven historic cuttings in Kamakura. Within the park, you can also find the statue of Minamoto no Yoritomo, the founder and the first shogun of the Kamakura shogunate.
Eisho-ji Temple is the only nunnery in Kamakura. We will visit the temple and take a pleasant walk through the serene bamboo forest.
