Visit the world-famous UNESCO Terracotta Army, Xi’an’s most iconic historical landmark. On this guided tour, you will explore the major excavation pits and professional relic exhibition halls. You can closely admire life-sized terracotta soldiers featuring one-of-a-kind facial features, listen to the authentic story of their accidental discovery by local farmers, and acquire profound knowledge of Qin Dynasty military systems and superb ancient craft techniques. The pits of Terracotta Warriors are the burial pits of the Mausoleum of the First Emperor of Qin. The images of the pottery figurines are all different and their expressions are vivid. It is a pearl in the history of ancient Chinese sculpture art and is known as "the eighth wonder of the world" and "one of the great archaeological discoveries in the 20th century".

2Tomb of Emperor Jingdi (Hanyangling)
Hanyangling is the joint mausoleum of Emperor Jingdi and his empress, and China’s best-preserved Western Han imperial tomb complex. Its star attraction is an underground on-site museum with glass walkways, letting you view intact ancient relics without disturbing archaeological layers. In contrast to Qin’s massive military warriors, its tiny pottery figurines depict palace servants, performers, farmers and livestock. Originally fitted with wooden arms and silk robes that decayed through time, they now stand as bare clay statues. The museum also displays rare artifacts such as the world’s oldest tea relic, lacquerware and jade pieces, presenting a gentle, down-to-earth view of Han life that stands in striking contrast to the grand, warlike vibe of the Terracotta Army.
