The existing stone inscriptions further confirm the history of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the spread of Buddhism on the Silk Road. The palm-leaf scriptures collected in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda are also extremely precious Buddhist cultural relics. Within the structure, a spiral staircase leads up to an overlook with a panoramic view of the city.
The Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City, also called Great Tang All Day Mall, with exciting and lively atmosphere, is a must-go attraction at night in Xi’an, to experience the city’s remarkable culture in its prosperous Tang Dynasty (618-907). Located south to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and west to the Tang Paradise, it’s a north-south pedestrian street about 1,500 meters long and 500 meters wide. When night falls and all the street is brightly illuminated, visitors in traditional style costumes swarm into the street to view impressive night views and enjoy Tang-style performances.
The Terracotta Warriors pits are burial pits for the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Three pits have been discovered and are numbered as Pit 1, Pit 2, and Pit 3. There are nearly 8,000 terracotta figures and horses in three pits, which are similar in size to real people and horses. The images of the terracotta figures are all different, and their expressions are vivid. It is a pearl in the history of ancient Chinese sculpture art and is known as "the eighth wonder of the world" and "one of the great archaeological discoveries of the 20th century."
