On this excursion we will discover one of the most sunny cities in all of Andalusia. World-renowned for being the birthplace of Flamenco art, the dancing of the Andalusian horses, and above all, for having one of the best wines in the world, which together with its rich culture of tapas, will delight the good palates.
Discover the true essence of Andalusian culture with our fast and direct excursions, with only two passenger pick-up points, so we can make the most of our time.
In our first activity, we will go to know the maximum exponent of the city of Jerez, its most famous wineries. We will visit the Tio Pepe Wineries, a monumental set of wineries located in the historic center of Jerez, a reference of the nineteenth century wine tradition with Andalusian patios, cobbled streets and the spectacular centuries-old wineries where the best Sherry Wines and Brandies age. Join us on this exciting journey back in time that has its origins in the 19th century, with Jerez becoming the wine capital of the world and a young Manuel Ma González Ángel laying the foundation stone of what are now the Uncle Pepe Wineries. We will walk through vineyards, patios and ancient cobblestone streets and discover the aging and aging system of Sherry Wines and Brandies. We will finish the visit, and our excursion in the best possible way, tasting two types of sherry wine.
Afterwards we will transfer to the Royal School of Equestrian Art, where we will marvel at the show "Como dance the Andalusian horses". This exhibition is an authentic equestrian ballet with purely Spanish music and costumes in the style of the 18th century, mounted on choreographies extracted from the reprisses of classical and cowgirl dressage and other traditional riding works. In each performance, 6 to 8 choreographies are made. All of them maintain the same level and spectacularity and are programmed by the Institution according to the following repertoire: cowboy dressage, classical dressage, hookups, handiwork and carousel.
Once the show is over, we will return to the center of Jerez, where we will have free time from 2 to 4 pm, to have lunch where each one chooses (lunch not included) and take a walk in our own way around the city. Much of the historic center is well of cultural interest with the category of Artistic Historical Ensemble, and there you will find squares and restaurants where you can enjoy its delicious gastronomy and of course, its rich wines. At 16h our bus will wait to return to the Costa del Sol.
