Our tour will begin with a peaceful walk through Glenmore Forest until we reach the famous Green Loch. From here we will spend time taking in the beauty of the Loch's unique green colour, and enjoying our peaceful surroundings.
We will next visit Scotland's highest sandy beach at Loch Morlich. Here we can enjoy sweeping views of the Cairngorm mountains that act as a perfect backdrop to this beautiful spot.
Next be prepared to feel the hairs on the back of your neck stanf up as we visit the cursed Grave of Seath Mhor. Located in kirkyard of St Tuchaldus this 13th century warrior's grave is said to be protected by cursed stones. Our guide will tell you all about the history of Seath Mhor and the creepy tales of the curse that protects his resting spot.
Next we will enjoy a peaceful walk at Loch an Eilean to view the ruins of a 13th Century Island Castle. The forest here is a remnant of the Ancient Caledonian Pine Forest. Enjoy both the nature and history at this excellent stop.
After all of our exploring it's time for some lunch, shops and a bit of down time in Aviemore. You will have just over an hour to grab some food and maybe pop into one of two shops in this charming wee town.
Our final stop will be to admire the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands. The Old Packhorse Bridge was originally used for funeral processions to cross the river. On a sunny day you might get to see some brave locals jumping off the bridge into the cold river below!
