Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit offers four distinct and incredible destinations. Tarangire is known for its iconic Baobab trees and massive herds of elephants gathering at the river. The Serengeti is the legendary "endless plains," famous for the Great Migration and its high density of large predators. The Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular, self-contained caldera, provides an unparalleled density of animals and the best opportunity to see the Black Rhino. Finally, Lake Manyara, situated by the Great Rift Valley, is a scenic park celebrated for its rich birdlife (including flamingos) and its unique tree-climbing lions.
