Get into the Christmas spirit with a day trip to the Ghent Christmas Market. Wander among the wooden huts, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and explore the city's main attractions.

More than 150 wooden huts spread out from Sint-Baafsplein, along the Botermarkt and Klein Turkije to the end of the Korenmarkt. The whole neighborhood gets out its Christmas decorations.

Wander among firs and pines, amble past stalls selling snacks and drinks, fancy trinkets, and authentic crafts. The scent of pine resin and mulled wine make the experience complete.

Ghent is a compact city. All attractions are within walking distance from one another. Two tourist quarters seamlessly blend together. The Historical Centre boasts the highest concentration of historical buildings and monuments, while the Arts Quarter is home to the main museums.
