Most day tours from Astana show you the city. This one takes you to Taiburyldyn Shabysy Ranch, a working horse ranch build around three horse breeds, a kitchen that produces three meals a day from scratch, and a private sauna on the property. You'll ride in the morning along the river, eat a traditional Kazakh meal at the ranch, then ride out in the afternoon to the mausoleum of Kabanbai Batyr, dedicated to Kazakhstan's most significant historical heroes, and one most visitors never reach. Entry to the inside is included, and your guide will tell you exactly who Kabanbai was and why the country cherishes his deeds. The sauna is already warm by the time you're back. Dinner at the ranch in the evening before the return to Astana. Beginners welcome. Non-riders too.

What to expect
PLAN FOR THE DAY:
• Morning pick up around 9:30 and arrival to the Taiburyldyn Shabysy Ranch
• We’ll welcome you with a traditional Kazakh breakfast featuring fresh farm eggs, homemade bread, butter, berry jams, and tea brewed over fire
• Meet your instructors and horses and settle into the ranch's welcoming atmosphere
• Participate in horse feeding and enjoy your first ride exploring the peaceful steppe
• After a traditional Kazakh lunch, embark on a scenic horse ride to the historic Kabanbai Batyr Mausoleum (one of the most beloved figures in Kazakh history)
• Back at the ranch, recharge in a relaxing sauna
• Enjoy a Kazakh feast of comforting dishes, fresh bread, delicious desserts, and tea
• Drive back to Astana, you will be tired in the best possible way, with fresh air in your lungs, amazing photos and unforgettable memories in your heart!
