Meeting point is at the Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud) in Fes. Our guide will be there holding a sign with your name.

3. Our first destination is Ifrane, often referred to as the 'Switzerland of Morocco' due to its distinctive Alpine-style architecture with gabled roofs. We will pause here for a short, scenic walk. The city was originally established by the French administration in 1928 as a hill station to escape the intense heat of the Sahara.
4. After stopping in Ifrane, we will carry on driving across the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop by the road in a Cedar forest, where we may get to see a monkey species native to the Atlas Mountains.
After having lunch in a restaurant somewhere along the way, we will continue our journey to Merzouga. On the way. we will stop for a panoramic view of an Oasis that is full of palm trees.
6. In the afternoon, we will reach the Merzouga Desert. Here, you will swap four wheels for four legs as we embark on a camel trek across the massive sand dunes. The ride to our luxury camp takes about one hour and forty minutes, and we will make a special stop on a high dune to watch the sunset paint the Erg Chebbi dunes in golden light.Once at camp, our team will welcome you and show you to your private tent. After dinner, join us around the campfire to enjoy traditional Berber drumming and singing. It is the perfect way to end the night before lying back to admire the brilliant starry sky.
1. Today, we highly recommend waking up early to witness a truly glorious sunrise over the dunes. After a tasty breakfast at camp, you will have a choice of transport back: you can either ride a camel once more or take a 4x4 vehicle. For those seeking extra adventure, we also offer quad biking and buggy driving this morning for an additional cost. If you would like to add this activity, please let your guide know tonight so we can make the arrangements.
2. If today happens to be Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday, we will make a special stop in Rissani to experience its traditional souk—a vibrant market that opens only three days a week. This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in local life and commerce.Beyond the market, Rissani holds great historical significance as the founding city of the current ruling dynasty of Morocco.
After exploring the historic city of Rissani, we will journey to the Todra Gorge, the deepest canyon in Morocco, renowned for its towering cliffs that rise over 300 meters. We will enjoy a leisurely walk beneath these magnificent rock faces before continuing to our final destination for the day.
This afternoon, we will reach the beautiful Dades Gorges. Our first stop is a unique rock formation called the 'Monkey Fingers'—you will see why when we get there! After taking in that sight, we will drive a bit further to a spectacular panoramic viewpoint where you can admire the full scale of the gorges.
Ouarzazate is known as the 'Hollywood of Africa' and serves as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Once we arrive, we will take you to your hotel so you can check in, freshen up, and enjoy a relaxing evening.
After having a yummy breakfast at your hotel, we will drive past the renowned Atlas Studio—the largest film studio in the world by land area—which has hosted major productions such as Aladdin, Vikings, and Prison Break. We will pause for photos outside the studio before continuing to explore the magnificent Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Optional Studio Visit: If you wish to tour the interior of Atlas Studio, please note that it requires approximately 1.5 hours and an entrance ticket (not included in the tour price). Kindly inform your guide if you would prefer this option.
3. Our guide will accompany you through the ancient Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, sharing its fascinating history along the way. This striking fortified village stands as a magnificent example of traditional Moroccan architecture. It originally served as a caravanserai—a resting place for trade caravans crossing the great Sahara Desert.Today, the Kasbah's cinematic appeal has made it a sought-after filming location, having appeared in renowned productions such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many others.
4. Following our time at the Kasbah, we will head towards Marrakech, journeying over the stunning High Atlas Mountains. We will pause at a few key spots along the route so you can take in the spectacular views and capture some memorable photos.
5. We will reach Marrakech in the late afternoon. We will drop you off as close as possible to your hotel or Riad, keeping in mind that some areas of the Medina are pedestrian-only. This concludes our 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech. We hope you enjoyed the journey!
