In the morning, our car and guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby in Hanoi's Old Quarter, then depart for Ha Giang to begin the journey to explore Ha Giang, traveling time about 7 hours by our bus.
This is the place that marks a long journey for every tourist when they first set foot to explore the Dong Van Ha Giang stone plateau. It is the starting point for a long journey through mountain passes and steep cliffs. It has great spiritual significance, bringing many memories to remember about a unique trip for each visitor. Referring to Ha Giang tourism, visitors will think of Mong villages and traditional houses. But the rocky plateau is not only home to the Mong people, but also to many other ethnic minorities. For example, in Ha Thanh village, this is the land of the Tay people with beautiful stilt roofs.
07:00: Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. 07:30: The car and tour guide will pick you up. Embark on a sightseeing trip to Ha Giang Loop: Heaven’s Gate Quan Ba This is a famous landmark of Ha Giang with an altitude of over 1500m, about 43 km from Ha Giang city. The Heaven Gate is located between two mountain peaks and is low enough for a road to pass through and is also the beginning of the road to happiness, the first gateway of Ha Giang. Standing on the mountain, you can see the panoramic view of the Northwest mountains and forests.
Lung Cam Cultural Village, located in the Sung La Valley, Ha Giang, is a traditional village of the Hmong, Lo Lo, and Han ethnic groups, renowned for its unique culture and timeless beauty. The village is known for its ancient earthen houses, blooming buckwheat flower fields, and peaceful scenery amidst majestic mountains. Lung Cam also gained fame as the filming location for the popular movie "The Story of Pao," attracting visitors eager to explore the simple way of life, unique customs, and untouched beauty of the Dong Van stone plateau.
Lung Cu Flagpole, located in Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District, Ha Giang, marks the northernmost point of Vietnam and symbolizes the resilience of the nation. 16:30: Arrive and check in at your hotel (or homestay) in Dong Van Town. 19:00: Ẹnjoy dinner at the Old Quarter, followed by a leisurely walk.

Afterward, head to Meo Vac then visit Ma pi leng pass Ma Pi Leng Pass is a famous name in the village of death passes in Vietnam with dangerous turns, challenging the drivers of backpackers. The pass is 20km long, located at an altitude of 1,200 m, on the Dong Van stone plateau, curving along the middle of the mountain. I bet that whether you are a backpacker or not, you have heard of the reputation of this Ma Pi Leng pass. This is one of the "four great passes" with beauty that is both wild and dangerous but strangely charming and attractive. Ma Pi Leng is difficult to conquer. Therefore, it makes people yearn even more to be able to overcome all the zigzag and winding roads surrounded by high, steep rocky mountains and deep abysses.
Nho Que River, flowing through Meo Vac and Dong Van districts in Ha Giang, is one of the most beautiful rivers in northern mountainous Vietnam. With its emerald green waters, the river meanders through towering cliffs, creating stunning and majestic landscapes. Particularly, the area around the river is often surrounded by limestone mountains and deep valleys, providing visitors with exciting experiences while exploring the pristine nature. 13:00: Enjoy lunch at Yen Minh town. 15:30: Arrive at Rocks Ha Giang Restaurant to relax. Enjoy Tea Break Time with a welcome drink and fruit. 16:00: Depart from our office as the bus picks you up. 19:30: Arrive in Tuyen Quang, where the bus will stop for a rest stop. (Dinner is self-funded) 22:00: Arrive back in Hanoi.
