All members of your group can be picked up at a single location such as hotel, cruise ship terminal or airport. Alternatively, if members of your group are coming from different locations/hotels, I recommend you select the meeting point in front of Saint Laurence Christ Church on George Street as it is near to all public transport options such as trains, trams and buses.
7:45am George street. In front of the Christ church St Laurence. This location is a few minutes walk from Central Station.
First stop in the lower mountains at Glenbrook, coffee and toilet break. Check out the portal lookout before we continue up the mountain to the Upper Central Mountains region where we will spend our day exploring!
Get a burst of fresh mountain air and detox your body, mind and soul when we visit Echo Point Lookout to see the world famous Three Sisters. At 1,000 meters in elevation above sea level, this breathtaking view of world heritage listed Blue Mountains remains untouched for over 300 million years, older than the dinosaurs and the Grand Canyon. Various viewing platforms, souvenir shopping for crystals and gems, easy bush hiking to Spooners Lookout.
A beautiful cascading waterfall surrounded by rainforest
As an alternative to Scenic World; we will venture further into the Blue Mountains and stop at the cafe museum of the Hydro Majestic Hotel, overlooking the marvelous views of the Megalong Valley. Coffee, tea, drinks, snacks and souvenirs (clothing, locally produced teas, jams, honey, skincare and lots more) available to purchase at your own cost.
One hour break for lunch in this picturesque village. Bring your own packed lunch or choose from many options including hot food, cold food, sandwiches, chocolate, ice cream, kangaroo burger, kangaroo pie, hot chips, regular burgers, salads and lots of vegetarian options.
