Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted and transported to Tarangire National Park. There, you will embark on a thrilling day-long game drive while enjoying your picnic lunch en route. In the evening, we will drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and your overnight stay. Situated slightly away from the primary safari route, Tarangire National Park is a tranquil gem in Northern Tanzania, renowned for its elephant migration, exceptional birding opportunities, and serene and authentic safari ambiance. Sadly, many travelers often overlook Tarangire or spend only a few hours within the park, leaving significant portions of its wilderness virtually untouched
Following breakfast, our journey will commence towards the Ndutu region nestled within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, an integral part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Lake Ndutu, akin to many other rift lakes, boasts an alkaline composition, yet its water remains potable and serves as a vital resource for a diverse range of indigenous wildlife. Throughout the months spanning December to April, the majority of the wildebeest migration typically graces the short-grass plains of this area. Moreover, Ndutu is renowned for its abundant population of elephants, various avian species, and resident game, making it a captivating destination for wildlife enthusiasts.
Early morning after breakfast, you will continue exploring the vast plain of Ndutu with millions of plain dwellers, over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flowing south from the Central Serengeti at the end of December Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, is part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephants, birds, and resident games. After the game drive, drive to your accommodation for your dinner and an overnight stay.
