The Clock Tower is centrally located in the city, opposite the New Arusha Hotel and near the Air Tanzania offices. It is approximately a 1-hour drive from Kilimanjaro Airport and 30 minutes from Arusha Airport
After breakfast, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Once the game drive is complete, we will transfer you back to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world and one of Africa’s natural wonders. It is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a wide variety of bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared for an incredible wildlife experience, where you’ll have the opportunity to see many animals in a short amount of time.
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted and transported to Tarangire National Park. There, you will embark on a thrilling day-long game drive while enjoying your picnic lunch en route. In the evening, we will drive to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and your overnight stay. Situated slightly away from the primary safari route, Tarangire National Park is a tranquil gem in Northern Tanzania, renowned for its elephant migration, exceptional birding opportunities, and serene and authentic safari ambiance. Sadly, many travelers often overlook Tarangire or spend only a few hours within the park, leaving significant portions of its wilderness virtually untouched
After a refreshing night’s sleep, you begin what many call the “day of the lions”. Enjoy an early breakfast, check out, and make your way to Lake Manyara National Park. Covering about 330 km², around 200 km² of which becomes a lake during high water, the park offers an impressive mix of wildlife. From vast flocks of pink flamingos painting the shoreline to close-up encounters with majestic bull elephants, Lake Manyara is rich in both animal and bird species. A highlight of this unique ecosystem is the famous tree-climbing lions, one of its rarest sights. After your game drive through the lush groundwater forest and open plains, you will start your journey back to Arusha in the mid-afternoon. You’ll return with your heart full and your camera packed with unforgettable moments from your East African safari, where you will be dropped off at your Hotel in Arusha.
