What to expect

Discover the essence of the Douro in a comprehensive experience that unites nature, gastronomy and wines in one day.

We start with a horse ride DE about 2 hours through the Serra DE Montemuro, POR rural trails and romantic bridges, always surrounded POR a stunning natural landscape. During the journey, there is time for a break with traditional hunter tea and a rustic brunch served outdoors. On the way, a special surprise: the charming fountain of wine, hidden among the mountains.

The lunch will be in a typical mountain restaurant, with entries OF local products such as fillings, cheeses and regional bread, followed POR a dish OF meat DE local production.

The Douro tar ends with a wine tasting at an exclusive Douro farmhouse with an amazing view of the river and the suburbs – the ideal setting to enjoy the flavors and authenticity of the region.
