We will meet at Bab Souk Square, one of the main entrances to Chefchaouen Medina. Your guide will be waiting for you there and will walk with you to the local hammam. Please arrive 10 minutes before the experience starts.

What to expect

Step into the heart of Moroccan culture with an authentic public hammam experience in Chefchaouen — just like locals do. You won’t need to bring anything; we’ll provide all the essentials, including Moroccan black soap, an exfoliating kessa glove, towels, and other traditional hammam materials.

Upon arrival at the hammam, you’ll be guided by a local scrub assistant (a woman for female guests, or a man for male guests), who will walk you through every step of the ritual — from preparing your skin, applying the black soap, using the scrub glove, to finishing with the refreshing rinse that leaves you feeling light and renewed.

Unlike tourist spas, this is a real community hammam, where you’ll share the same experience locals enjoy weekly. It’s a chance to connect with the rhythm of Moroccan life, discover traditional self-care, and feel deeply relaxed.

After the hammam, we’ll head to a rooftop terrace in a 300-year-old house in the Medina, where you’ll enjoy a calming glass of Moroccan tea while taking in the views of Chefchaouen’s blue-washed streets and mountain backdrop.
