As the evening settles over Chefchaouen, we'll explore the peaceful blue medina when its narrow streets become quieter and more atmospheric. Together, we'll wander through charming alleyways, discover hidden corners away from the daytime crowds, and experience the city from a local's perspective. Along the way, I'll share stories about Chefchaouen's history, architecture, traditions, and daily life, giving you a deeper understanding of the Blue City beyond its famous photo spots.

One of the highlights of our evening is stopping at a local street food vendor to taste some of Chefchaouen's most beloved traditional snacks. Depending on the season and what's freshly prepared that evening, you may enjoy warm chickpeas, fragrant snail soup, creamy chamiya, or calienté, a delicious chickpea pie that has been a local favorite for generations.

Our evening concludes on the rooftop of a beautifully preserved 300-year-old traditional Moroccan house overlooking the Blue City. As the lights of Chefchaouen begin to glow, you'll relax with a cup of authentic Moroccan mint tea while discovering the rich history and spiritual traditions of Gnawa music. I'll introduce you to the Guembri, the three-string instrument at the heart of this centuries-old musical tradition, and explain its unique rhythms, symbolism, and cultural significance. You'll then have the opportunity to hold the instrument and learn a few simple rhythms yourself in a fun and relaxed way. If you enjoy music, we'll also share an informal guitar session where you're welcome to play along, sing, or simply listen and soak in the atmosphere. Whether you're a musician or have never played an instrument before, this intimate rooftop gathering is designed to be a genuine cultural exchange and a memorable way to end your evening in Chefchaouen.
