- All visitors boarding a Statue City Cruises departure to Liberty and/or Ellis Island must pass through airport grade security procedures in the Screening Facility.
- All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a responsible Adult (25 years or older).
- Children age 3 and under do not require a ticket.
- The time printed on your ticket indicates when you should join the queue to enter the security screening facility, not a specific departure. You may only join the queue to enter the security screening facility at the time referenced on your ticket.
- There are no locker storage areas at the screening facility at Battery Park.
- Ferries depart approximately every 20 - 30 minutes from the New York departure point.
- Ferries depart approximately every 35 minutes from the New Jersey departure point.
- Self-service lockers ($2, only 25 cent coins are accepted) are available before entry into the Statue of Liberty National Monument. All items left in the lockers must be collected after the tour. The National Park Service is not responsible for any items of value placed in the lockers.
- Wait times can be lengthy during peak season, including summer, weekends, and holidays.
- Please be aware of unauthorized vendors inside Battery Park who may attempt to redirect you or encourage you to purchase additional tickets. If you need assistance, Statue City Cruises staff are available inside Castle Clinton or managing the ferry boarding lines.
