It is one of the best excursions departing from Marrakech, it combines the beauty of atlas mountains landscape and the real life of berbers with thier unique culture by visiting a local berber house and testing a home made tajine.
after the pick-up the excursion starts by visiting the Green ourika valley with it's stuning river that flows the whole of the year and then driving up through a mountain road to reach arround 1900 meters to have a delisious berber tajine in a berber village located in a beautiful panoramique view facing the snow capped Mountain of Toubkal which is the highiest mountain in north africa.
after Lunch returning back to marrakech with unforgetable memories of the Berber people and thier culture that still stood since thousands of years in a modern world that changes so fast.
atlas mountains day trip is done with an air-conditioning van with a professional driver with a possibility to do exta activities like camel riding and visiting the argan oil cooperative.

Sixty four kilometres away from Marrakech, and also away from the stress of the modern life’s troubles, 2 days to the roof of Morocco, 20-minutes to some flavoured and spicy Tagine made in Imlil (Berber word for the white mountain) . You can start your excursion at 9:00am after Tahannaout and Asni you need to cross the narrow and winding pass leading you to this beautiful small town known as the foot of Toubkal, and due to the circumstances of the road, our mountain guide/driver will guide you through the magnificent landscape to "Armed" village where you will have lunch.. After a Berber lunch you have to go on a peaceful walk through the walnuts forest and the Berber village and we will visit the famous Kik plateau and Lalla takerkoust Dam, Whenever you decide to drive back to Marrakech it’ll take you an hour and a half.
