On this 1.5 hour walk there are no cathedrals, grand buildings or monuments, you’ll experience the real Glasgow. Starting on Mitchell Street, we’ll dive straight into the city’s street art story before meandering down lanes and hidden corners to uncover some of the most striking pieces taking over the walls. All with a local, expert guide.
From world-renowned muralists to local underground artists, you’ll hear the stories and inspiration behind each piece you see, while learning how Glasgow’s street art scene has evolved over the last decade and beyond. We’ll explore the role of Glasgow City Council, the difference between graffiti and street art, and how the city became one of Europe’s most exciting urban art destinations.
