Itinerary

    Taj Mahal

    You will be picked up from your hotel in New Delhi and transferred to the Hazrat Nizamudin Railway Station to board your express train to Agra. Upon arrival at Agra Cantt Railway Station at 10:00 AM, you will be met with your private English speaking Guide and be driven to the Taj Mahal, a “Monument to Love”. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the for favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is an immense mausoleum of beautiful white marble with inlaid precious stones built between 1631 and 1648. Your guide will then take you to local restaurant for an included buffet lunch (beverage excluded). After lunch, you will have some free time to shop for souvenirs (own expense). Agra is well known for its intricate handicrafts and embroidery work. You’ll be transferred back to the Agra Cantt railway station to board your express train back to Delhi. Upon arrival at H.Nizamuddin Railway, meet your driver who will pick you up at the station and transfer you back to your hotel in New Delhi.
