Surendrapuri is a unique, one of its kind mythological theme park that is located 45 miles from Hyderabad in the South Indian state of Telengana. The park depicts scenes from Hindu mythology and has  giant sculptures of popular Hindu Gods. Visit the life-size replicas of temples from various parts of India, standing all in a row. Spend some time admiring the colorful statues of Gods and Goddesses engaged in visual narratives from the Hindu epics.

    Surendrapuri

    You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning for the 2-hour drive to Surendrapuri. On your arrival in Surendrapuri, you will be met by your guide for the day who will explain to you the history and mythology of the various statues and scenes that you will be seeing at the park. You cannot miss the giant 60 feet tall statues of the Gods Shiva and Hanuman at the entrance to the park. After this cultural and religious extravaganza, take lunch (beverage excluded) at one of the many food stalls. After lunch, you will see stories of some popular Hindu Gods like Krishna and Hanuman depicted in the form of life-size statues. Visit the Buddha statues, too. The scenes on display depict the war between the two warring factions of the families - the Kauravas and the Pandavas. Visit the Navagraha temple, which depicts the nine planets based on the Hindu astrological system. At the end of the tour you will be driven back to Hyderabad and dropped off at your hotel.
