During your private 7 day excursion, you will see a number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well as the Ranthambore National Park. The park was once the former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Today, Ranthambore National Park is a wildlife sanctuary for many animals including leopards and the famous Bengal tigers. Your game drives will give you a great first hand experience of this natural sanctuary.

11Fatehpur Sikri
In the morning, drive to Ranthambore National Park. Enroute, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city built by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son. The audience halls, palaces and mosques are still in a state of perfection. Upon arrival in Ranthambore, check into your hotel.

12Ranthambore National Park
Ranthambhore is one of the few preserves where the nocturnal camera-shy tigers may be seen in daylight. Almost hunted to extinction by the local royalty and their British overlords, the population of Bengal tigers is slowly increasing, a result of the efforts of “Project Tiger” and the World Wildlife Fund. You will have two games drives, one in the morning and one on the evening to look for wildlife.

13Jaipur
Leave for another game drive this morning. In the afternoon, check out of your hotel and you will be driven to Jaipur. This historic city is surrounded by a massive wall pierced by magnificent gateways. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure.

14Amber Palace
