Gurdwara Rakab Ganj is located near the Parliament House in New Delhi. It was built at the same time as Gurdwara Sis Ganj. It stands on the spot where the mortal remains of the ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur were cremated by a faithful disciple who burnt his house down in order to cremate the Guru. Standing near Connaught Place, one of the commercial districts of Delhi, the Gurdwara is very popular due to its easy accessibility from other parts of the city.
