Pick up from our hotel, go to Mount of Olives and enjoy a great view of the city of Jerusalem from above. Walk along the Palm Sunday road down to visit Dominus Flevit, the church is shaped as a tear drop where Jesus visualized the destruction of Jerusalem and wept. Go to Mount Zion. Visit Church of the Dormition, the place where Virgin Mary fell asleep. Visit Cenacle, also known as the “Upper Room”, the site of The Last Supper. Begin walking the stations of the Via Dolorosa and end at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the place where Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
After pickup from your hotel, drive to Bethlehem and explore the Church of the Nativity, traditionally recognized as the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Visit the adjoining Church of Saint Catherine and Saint Jerome’s Cave, where Saint Jerome translated the Bible into Latin. Continue to the Milk Grotto and Shepherds’ Field, where the angels are believed to have announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds. Stroll through Bethlehem’s Old City and its historic streets, experiencing the city’s local culture and atmosphere. Enjoy a traditional falafel lunch before visiting Cremisan Winery for a tasting of locally produced wines. If time permits, visit the Banksy-designed Walled Off Hotel and its museum.
