The amount of wildlife and nature incorporated into a 15-day window is incredible. The trip is definitely a combo of some of Madagascar's most popular area, however, we have also included some parks that are less traveled and still very raw and untouched.
We will pick guests up from their hotel or accommodation the day of the tour.
As you arrive in Tana today, we will be there for your arrival! From the airport, you will transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight. Should you happen to be in the city prior to the tour date, then just let us know where you would like us to pick you up. Overnight at the hotel les 3 metis or similar.
This morning after breakfast, we will depart for Antsirabe. En route, we will stop in Ambatolampy for a chance to visit a manufacturing location where they make aluminum pots. Later this afternoon we will arrive in Antsirabe and transfer to the hotel.
Departing after breakfast this morning, we will make our way to Morondava! The driving really allows you a chance to sit back and enjoy the landscape and scenery that is constantly changing. Upon arrival to Morondava today, we will explore the city a bit as well as the beach.
It will be an early one this morning. After some breakfast, we will depart for Bekopaka. Today will involve driving in a car(s), a ferry transfer on Belo sur Tsiribihina before and more driving before we arrive at Bekopaka. At the end of the afternoon, arrival at the hotel
We will dedicate the date to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park: this park is classified among the patrimonies of the UNESCO, World Heritage of Humanity. First, we will visit the great Tsingy where we wll spend around four hours. This afternoon we will see the small Tsingy (about 1.5 hrs) before departing back to the hotel for dinner and the evening.
Early this morning we will make our way back to the ferry at Belo sur Tsiribihina to transfer by ferry to Tsimafana to head to Morondava. Upon arrival, we will visit perhaps the most famous spot in Madagascar - the famous baobab avenue and the baobab in love. Later this afternoon we will transfer back to our hotel for dinner and then evening.
Departing Morondava this morning we will make our way to Antsirabe. The drive today is about 4 hours. We will arrive in Antsirabe this afternoon and transfer to the hotel.
Before leaving for Ambositra this morning, we will have a chance to explore the Avenue of Antsirabe. Ambositra is the capital of Malagasy crafts and wood carving. This morning we will visit some craft shops in the city of Ambositra before continuing to Ranomafana. The drive is definitely scenic and allows you to admire the Betsileo ethnic group landscape with its particular architecture and rice culture.
This morning we will depart the hotel for Ranomafana National Park. Ranomafana NP is a humid forest that is characterized by the presence of endemic flora and fauna of the island. The park has many different orchids and ferns and plenty of wildlife including, lemurs, of course, and some local chameleons. We will explore the park for about 4 hours today. Later this afternoon we as we arrive in Fianarantsoa today we will explore the city, the old town here is classified world patrimony of UNESCO.
This morning after breakfast, we will depart to Ambalavao to visit the Antemoro paper and silk manufacturing workshop. From here, we will visit the Reserve of Anja that belongs to the villagers of Iaritsena. This afternoon we will continue our journey to Ranohira via the town of the Bara, Ihosy ethnic group. We will pass through the Ihorombe savanna.
Explore the National Park of Isalo today as we dedicate the day to simply enjoy the flora and the fauna of the park. The park is well known not only for the flora and fauna but also for its Canyon and natural pool! This afternoon you will have the chance to experience the famous sunset in the "Window of Isalo"
Making our way south today you will see the first south baobab! Admire the southern baobabs in Zombitse National Park before continuing to a local fishermen village and one of the most beautiful beaches in the south - Ifaty!
The day is yours! Today is a day free to explore the beach and crystal blue water or simply read a book under some shade!
This morning after breakfast, we will depart to the Tulear airport for our flight back to the capital city, Tana. From the airport, in Tana, you will be transferred to the hotel for the night.
Today, depending on the time of your international flight you will be transferred to the airport. Should there be time, you will have a chance to visit the city's craft market before you depart!
