Our tour starts from Piazza dell'Odegitria, inside Bari Vecchia, the city's historic centre. Your local expert will be waiting for you at the palms near the Cathedral's front door. As we pass near the Cathedral of San Sabino, we’ll enjoy our first tasting: focaccia barese, Bari’s most iconic street food. Freshly baked, crispy on the outside and soft inside, it’s topped with cherry tomatoes and olives and perfectly represents the city’s simple, flavorful cuisine.

Continuing through the historic streets and passing close to the Museo Civico di Bari, we’ll stop for a hot, freshly made panzerotto. Golden and bubbling, with a classic tomato and mozzarella filling, this beloved snack is a true symbol of Bari’s everyday food culture.
