We’ll start near the Church of Saint Fortunatus, strolling through the surrounding area and exploring the charming streets of the neighborhood. Along the way, you’ll get a feel for local life before reaching our first stop, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of traditional local charcuterie, perfectly paired with a glass of excellent regional wine, a delicious introduction to the flavors of the area.
We’ll begin by admiring the Arco Etrusco, one of Perugia’s most impressive ancient landmarks, before properly entering the historic town center. From there, we’ll continue our walk through the streets of the city and stop to enjoy one of the most typical Perugian street food dishes, the beloved torta al testo.
We’ll also explore Perugia’s main piazza and the surrounding streets as we make our way to the third stop: a traditional trattoria, where you’ll sit down to enjoy freshly made pasta served with classic local sauces, a true taste of Umbrian home cooking.
A highlight of the tour is the Rocca Paolina, an unmissable landmark offering a unique perspective over Perugia. Nearby, we’ll stop to enjoy a sweet treat, with the chance to taste local chocolate or artisan gelato, the perfect way to round off the experience.
Before finishing the tour, we’ll slow down and enjoy a perfectly brewed Italian coffee, a relaxed and authentic way to end our lunch together and savor the final moments of the experience.
