Our journey continues with a visit to a traditional Sardinian restaurant, where we’ll enjoy a delicious local first course. This dish showcases the finest ingredients and recipes of Sardinia, allowing us to experience the authentic flavors of the island in a welcoming, historic setting.
As we continue through the city, we’ll stop to bite into this iconic flaky pizza, topped with rich tomato and melted cheese. A favorite locals grow up eating during school breaks and seaside strolls, it’s a beloved street food found in bakeries and bars all over Cagliari—easy to carry, wonderfully fragrant, and almost impossible to stop at just one.
