Cheomseongdae Observatory is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. It was used for observing the stars in order to forecast the weather.
Take a stroll at the open museum of Gyeongju city by visiting Royal Tumuli Park
Continue to the Gyeongju National Museum, which displays the artifacts from the Silla culture, with 2,500 exhibits including Silla crowns and Buddhist artifacts on display, and a further 80,000 in storage.
You will visit the Gamcheon Culture Villiage, formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname "Machu Picchu of Busan."
You will visit the Jagalchi Market. It is lively and showcases the outgoing personalities of the people of Busan and the south.
Yongdusan Mountain (49m) in downtown Busan is one of Busan's three famous mountains. It was originally called Songhyeonsan Mountain, which means a mountain with a view of the sea through the dense pine tree forest. Later, the name was changed to Yongdusan Mountain, as the mountain peak was shaped similar to a dragon's head (yongdu), protecting the area against foreign invaders overseas.
Continue to Nampadong Street, home to the Busan International Film Festival (PIFF) and inexpensive non-brand fashion items.
