Let’s leave together on board of a beautiful gozzo towards the wonderful islands of the gulf of naples: ischia and procida, real corners of paradise. The campanian archipelago is the perfect place for anyone who wants to get lost among the sea, relaxation and breathtaking views.
Traveling by sea, you will have the opportunity to admire the scenery of both islands: Procida, the smallest of the islands in the gulf, with its colorful fishing village and Ischia, the so-called green island, famous for the richness of its thermal springs and for the beauty of its beaches and its forests.
On board a private boat, with the guide of our attentive and trained staff, you will spend a day of relaxation and discovery, all accompanied by several stops for diving and swimming in the most suggestive spots of the coast.
This is only a suggested itinerary below with some of the main sights highlighted. As this is a private excursion, you can customize it as you wish.
Upon arrival in Ischia, we will start the tour from the Maronti beach, the longest on the island (almost 3 km);
Then we will stop at the Green Cave, an incredible natural cave carved into the rock, inside which the light, reflecting into the water, creates a play of colors and shades of green. Right here we will stop to swim and snorkel, before heading to the Aragonese Castle, the symbol of the island in the world: a majestic fortress that stands on a huge rock, connected to the East side of the island by a bridge of 220 meters.
We will, then, stop at the port of Ischia for 3 or 4 hours of free time, in which you can explore the island on your own, maybe on board one of the iconic microtaxis (three-wheeled Apecar), a fun and unique way of touring Ischia and discover the main points of interest.
The tour continues towards Procida. While sailing around the island, we will stop to admire: the islet of Vivara, a crescent-shaped small island, uninhabited and connected to the island by a long bridge, that can only be crossed on foot. Small, wild and unspoiled, with its clear waters and marine plants, Vivara has been declared State Nature Reserve in 2002.
Terra Murata, which you can admire from the unique perspective of the sea. Terra Murata is the oldest settlement on the island, fortified and overlooking the sea. Here you will find the former prison of Palazzo d’Avalos and the Abbey of San Michele.
The wonderful village of Marina di Corricella, the symbol of the island in the world, with its interlacement of arches, domes, windows, stairs and multicoloured facades. The bay that surrounds Corricella is the perfect place to dive and then lie in the sun.
In Procida, you will have some free time to visit the island by land in total autonomy.
Finally, we will leave Procida and return to Sorrento, with the final limoncello tasting.
