You can leisurely cycle around this area while enjoying the rich sound and scenery of the water provided by Mt. Yatsugatake.
(For Tateshina Otaki Course) You can walk through a fantastic virgin forest.
(For the rice terrace course) You can also tour an agar factory that takes advantage of the local climate and get a glimpse of the unique way of life in this area.
(For Otome Falls course) You can enjoy the negative ion water spray of Otome Falls up close.

What to expect

This is a cycling tour that gives you a glimpse of the nature and lifestyle of this area, where many people lived at the western foot of Mt. Yatsugatake during the Jomon period as a rich area, and even today many people live in harmony with nature. A local guide who loves Tateshina will take you to the special scenery.

Of particular importance is the "water" that gushes out from Mt. Yatsugatake. People have been enjoying the water resources of this area for more than 10,000 years, and even today they live by taking advantage of the rich water resources and the environment at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters.

There are three courses to choose from: 1) Tateshina Otaki Course, 2) Otome Falls Course, and 3) Rice Terrace Course.
