The highlight of the cruise is undoubtedly the World Heritage Itsukushima-jinja Shrine.
As the island itself is considered divine, the shrine was built above the sea to avoid displeasing the gods. Therefore, there's significant meaning in paying homage from the sea.
During high tide, you can even approach the Great Shrine gate by cruiser. Experience a special visit from the sea.
