Hear about the island’s resident fairies on our stop at one of the famous Fairy Bridges. Visit the enchanted waters of the Sligachan River with views of the old bridge and the breathtaking Cuillin mountains.
We drive over the Skye bridge to the iconic – and absolutely beautiful – Eilean Donan Castle; used in the filming of Highlander and James Bond, The World is Not Enough.
Next, we board the ferry from Armadale to Mallaig. Look out for sealife!
We arrive in Mallaig, where we stop for some lunch before boarding the world-famous Jacobite Steam Train.
Today you follow the journey of the Hogwarts Express! Enjoy breathtaking views of Highland landscapes and the world-famous Glenfinnan Viaduct. Please note this is not the Jacobite Steam Train, we travel by local train along the awesome West Highland Line. No train available on 3 September 2026, instead we will take the stunning Road to the Isles - think mountains, lochs and coastlines. Train only available until October.
Stop in picturesque Highland village, Dunkeld, before concluding our tour back in Edinburgh.
